Das Windows 11 22H2 Update hat sich nicht als der stabilste Release von Microsoft erwiesen. Zahlreiche Update-Blockaden wurden inkraftgesetzt, um Nutzer vor einem verschlechterten Benutzererlebnis zu schützen.

Das neueste C-Update, das ab sofort optional für Windows 11 22H2 verfügbar ist, bringt einige wichtige Bugfixes und kleinere Neuerungen mit, welche Microsoft unter dem Codenamen „Moment 2“ entwickelt hatte. Diese sind allerdings im System noch versteckt und müssten manuell aktiviert werden.

Außerdem wurde in den Einstellungen das Windows Spotlight-Feature mit den Designs kombiniert, was es Nutzern einfacher machen soll, die regelmäßig wechselnden Wallpaper für den Desktop festzulegen.

Ansonsten handelt es sich um die übrigen Implementierungen nur um zahlreiche, dringend notwendige Bugfixes. Die enthaltenen Probleme in Windows 11 22H2 sind sehr zahlreich und entsprechend ist die Liste an Fehlerbehebungen nicht gerade kurz. Es sollten aber insbesondere bei Gaming-PCs bemerkbare Performance-Verbesserungen nach diesem Update bemerkbar sein, sodass sich eine Installation dieses optionalen C-Updates dringend empfiehlt.
